The Police Department and Fire Department Services Committee, in cooperation with the Administrator, is primarily responsible for assisting the Chief of Borden-Carleton Police Department and the Chief of the Borden-Carleton Fire Department. This Committee will ensure that issues and concerns affecting the delivery of adequate police and fire protection services for businesses, properties and citizens of the Community of Borden-Carleton and of the Borden-Carleton and surrounding area fire district, are brought to the attention of Council. This Committee will also review concerns that are brought to its attention and make recommendations to Council with respect to budget allocation, policy, organization requirements and change.
