The Finance and Administration Committee is responsible for establishing financial priorities and recommending the annual budget for Council’s consideration. This committee assists and provides support to the Community CAO in budget preparation and in the monitoring of budget performance. The finance committee acts as a sounding board for the CAO on matters of financial nature that concern the Communities operations and recommends changes that vary spending from the annual budget. From time to time the Finance and Administration Committee engages in the review and study of matters coming to its attention that may be considered to have significant impact on future Community budgets.
