The Community of Borden-Carleton Council consists of a Chairperson and six councillors. At the discretion of the Chairperson one councillor is appointed to act as vice or deputy Chair. Each Councillor is appointed to act as Chairperson of one or more committees as designated by the Community Chairperson. Along with the Committee Chair there are two councillors also sitting on each Committee. The Water and Sewer Committee also has a Citizen sitting on the Committee.
